Grievance and Redressal Cell
The Grievance and Redressal Cell provides a fair and confidential mechanism for students to raise academic, administrative, or personal grievances and to seek timely resolution.
About the Cell
Constituted under the UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2019, the Cell hears complaints related to admissions, examinations, evaluation, hostel, attendance, discrimination, and any other academic or administrative matter, and recommends action to the Principal.
Objectives
- Provide an accessible mechanism to raise grievances without fear.
- Ensure timely, fair and confidential resolution of complaints.
- Maintain the dignity and respect of students and staff alike.
- Recommend systemic improvements based on grievance patterns.
Scope of Grievances
- Admissions — eligibility, fee, allotment issues.
- Examinations — conduct, evaluation, results, re-totalling.
- Attendance shortage and condonation.
- Discrimination on the basis of caste, gender, religion, or disability.
- Harassment of any form and victimisation.
- Hostel, library and other facility-related matters.
How to Submit a Grievance
- Submit a written application addressed to the Principal, briefly stating the grievance.
- Or drop a complaint in the Grievance Box kept at the College office.
- The Cell will hear the matter within seven working days and communicate the outcome.
- If unresolved, the matter may be escalated to the University Grievance Committee.
